This meant that Navenby, William Alvey and Leasingham progressed to round 2 as group winners and Rauceby joined them as the best runners-up as they had a better goal difference than Walcott.

The first semi-final saw William Alvey and Navenby battle out a 0-0 draw. This meant extra time and with the scores still level it came down to penalties with Navenby just edging it. The second semi-final saw Leasingham and Rauceby also battle out a very close game which saw Rauceby eventually take victory with a 1 – 0 win.

The final was a replay of the group stage game between Navenby and Rauceby.

The final saw some excellent play by both teams. Navenby went 1 – 0 up but Rauceby quickly pulled it back to 1 a piece. An excellent passing move saw Rauceby take the lead with only a couple of minutes remaining. Navenby pushed for an equaliser but got stung on the counter attack as a long range shot flew into the top corner to make the final score 3 – 1 to Rauceby.

Well done to all the teams who took part we hope you had a great time and will hopefully see you again next year.
