  • Shane Ward finishes as Competition Manager
    Shane Ward finished his role as Competition Manager on 31st March 2011. If you have any questions relating to competition please contact your PDM Andy Allen at Carre's Grammar School.
  • Rauceby go unbeaten on the way to title.
    Rauceby beat off some stiff competition at the Primary High 5 tournament on Thursday 24 March to take the title and progress to the County Final. Rauceby will be joined by Helpringham who finished second after losing 2 - 1 in the Final. Kirkby La Thorpe and Church Lane finished joint third after drawing 1 - 1 in the third place play offs. Well done to the 10 teams who took part.
  • Brant Broughton Win Small School Football Title
    On a very windy and cold November 11th 8 teams took part in the Lincolnshire Central SSP Small school football tournament. After some very close games Brant Broughton beat Claypole 1 - 0 in the final and Kirkby La Thorpe won 1 - 0 over Osbournby to claim third.
  • William Alvey Win Large School Football
    William Alvey won the Large School football tournament with Navenby finishing runners-up on goal difference. Both teams now progress to the County Final in February.
  • St Botolph's win year 5 & 6 Girls Football
    St Botolph's were crowned the 2010 Lincolnshire Central SSP Girls Football Champions on Wednesday 20th October after finishing top of the tournament table. William Alvey were second in the league, both teams now progress to the County Final.
  • Cranwell and Claypole win first Quicksticks Festival
    The first Quicksticks Hockey festival ran in the Lincolnshire Central SSP with 17 teams and 80 children taking part. Two tournaments ran with Claypole winning pool 1 and Cranwell winning pool 2. A full report can be seen in the results section.
  • Stamford High win U14 & U16 Netball Tournaments
    Stamford High took the double as they won both the U14 & U16 Netball tournaments on Monday 4th October. Walton Girls were runners-up in the U14 and Sir William Robertson High were the runners-up in the U16. Good luck to all four teams in the County Final.
  • Congratulations!
    Lincolnshire has increased the number of children taking part in 'inter school competition' by over 4% over 2009/2010 academic year. This equates to approximately 4,000 more students than in the previous year who have had the experience of high quality inter school competition. It's a credit to all those who are working hard to increase the opportunities for our students.
  • Helpringham win Girls Kwik Cricket County Final
    On Friday 25th June the girls Kwik Cricket County Final took place in Lincoln. After some very close games Helpringham emerged victorious in the final against Chapel School.
  • Helpringham qualify for 4th County Final
    Helpringham have qualified for the fourth County Final this academic year. After winning the small school rounders tournament they played the winners of the large school rounders tournament (St. Botolphs) to see who would progress to the County Final.
  • Helpringham Win TAG Rugby County Final
    Helpringham have won the Lincolnshire School\'s TAG Rugby County Final. They now progress to the Regional finals in Leicester later in the year. Well done Helpringham.
  • Isaac Newton and St. Botolph's progress to County Final.
    St Botolph's and Isaac Newton will progress to the Lincolnshire County final in July after finishing 1st and 2nd respectively in the first ever girls Kwik Cricket Tournament.
  • William Alvey Win Year 5&6 Kwik Cricket
    William Alvey won the 2010 Kwik Cricket Tournament on 20th May. 16 schools took part and William Alvey will now progress to the Lincolnshire County final.

  • Helpringham Win County Final
    Helpringham Primary school beat off stiff competition from 7 other primary schools in the County to claim the Lincolnshire Small School Sportshall Athletics title 2010. For a full report please see the results section.
  • Church Lane Crowned County Champions
    Church Lane Primary School beat off stiff competition from 15 other schools in Lincolnshire to become the first ever Lincolnshire County Champions in the primary school 2 v 2 Volleyball finals last Saturday.
  • Coningsby Win and Welbourn take Second
    The first Lincolnshire Central SSP High 5 Tournament for schools not in the Sleaford and District Primary School Sport Association (SDPSSA) took place on Tuesday 23rd March at St. George’s Academy, Sleaford.
  • Kesteven Rowers Scoop 2 National Gold Medals
    57 students from the Kesteven Super zone took part in the National Indoor Rowing Championships last Tuesday and scooped 2 Gold Medals in both the year 8 boys and year 8 girls race.
  • Kesteven Kestrels and Lincolnshire Lead the Way
    On Friday 26th February Kesteven Kestrels won 6 out of 6 races at the East Midlands Indoor Rowing Championships. This meant that the Kesteven team made up of pupils from King\'s and KGGS won both the KS3 and KS4 competitions, whilst the other two teams came 4th and 5th.
  • Helpringham progress to County final
    The first ever small school sportshall athletics festival ran on Thursday 28th January. 12 schools attended with over 130 pupils taking part in a variety of events such as Relay races, Standing Long Jump, Chest Push and Javelin. After some very close events Helpringham came out on top by just 12 points ahead of Our Lady. For the complete set of results please see the results page.
  • St Hugh's win in close final
    The final night of the KSSA Table Tennis League saw Kings and St Hugh's go head to head in the final after wins over Carre's Grammar and Sir William Robertson in the previous round. The final was decided on points scored after the match was drawn 4 - 4 in games and after they were added up 21 more points for St Hugh's meant they were crowned champions.   • Carre's win Indoor Football Crown
    Carre's Grammar School team 1 scored 21 goals in 5 games in order to win the Year 7 Indoor 5-a-side Football Tournament on 24th November. They won the final 4 - 1 against King's School and will now represent Kesteven Keatrels at the Regional Final in 2010.
  • Stamford High Win County Final
    Stamford High School have won the under 14 Netball County final. They will now represent the County on 30th January 2010 at Soar Valley, Leicestershire at the Regional event.
  • Rauceby win Carre's Football Tournament
    The 2009 annual Carre's Grammar School football tournament finished with Rauceby as winners and Navenby as runners-up after a 3 - 1 final score line. These two teams will now represent the Partnership at the Large School Lincolnshire County Final in 2010. The Small schools who will represent the Partnership at the small school County Final are Brant Broughton and Claypole primary schools. Good Luck in the County Final.
  • Carre's and Central Qualify for County Final
    Carre's Grammar School and Central Technology and Sports College will now represent the Kesteven Kestrels Zone at the County Final after winning the boys and girls under 15's Volleyball. Good luck to both teams.
  • St. Botolph's and William Alvey Qualify
    After being winners and runners-up in the Lincolnshire Central SSP girls football competition St.Botolph's and William Alvey will now represent the Partnership at the County final in 2010.
  • Tri Golf Winners
    Congratulations to Caythorpe and Mareham-le-Fen schools who were the winners and runners-up respectively at the Partnership Tri-golf competition on Thursday. These teams will now represent the Partnership at the County Final next year. Well done to everyone who took part from all 10 schools and good luck in the County final Caythorpe and Mareham-le-Fen.
  • Stamford High and Walton Girls are Victorious
    On Monday 5th October the KSSA U14 and U16 Netball tournaments were hosted by St George's Technology College. Stamford High won the under 14 tournament and Walton Girls won the under 16's. Both of these will now represent KSSA in the County Final.

  • Brand New Wall Planner
    Every Primary and Secondary school in Lincolnshire will recieve the 2009 - 2010 School Competition Wall Planner. This shows all competition dates this year at Association, County, Regional and National level.

  • KGGS Win U19 Netball County Final
    KGGS won the 2010 / 11 under 19 County Final with a 13 - 4 win over QEGS Horncastle in the the Final. KGGS now represent Lincolnshire at the Regional Finals early next year.
  • Walton win Yr9 Girls Indoor Football
    Walton Girls took the Year 9 Indoor Football crown after a close tournament which saw St Georges finish in second. Well done Walton Girls.
  • Priory Ruskin Academy and KGGS win Volleyball League
    After two very close leagues Priory Ruskin Academy took first in the boys and Kesteven and Grantham Girls took the girls title. A full report will be in the results section shortly.
