Sportshall Athletics - 2009 County Final
On Wednesday 4th October the year 5 and 6 Sportshall Athletics final was hosted at Grantham Meres Leisure Centre in Grantham. The final was between 8 teams, from schools all around Lincolnshire. The teams included a minimum of 12 boys and girls in each team all aof which did a minimum of 1 field and 1 track event.
The final was the culmination of all the winning teams from a variety of qualifying events. Over 200 children came to the Mere's but well over 3000 children from around Lincolnshire had taken part in the qualifying events.
Well done to all the teams who took part and a big thank you to Kesteven and Sleaford High and St. George's Technology College from Sleaford for providing the young leaders, without whom the event would not have run so smoothly. The results from the day can be found below:
