    Shane Ward finished his role as Competition Manager on 31st March 2011. If you have any questions relating to competition please contact your PDM Vincent Brittain at Priory Ruskin Academy.
  • Isaac Newton win Primary Volleyball
    After a hard fought final Isaac Newton emerged victorious in the Yr 5&6 Volleyball Tournament. They played St Annes in the final with the score finishing 11 - 7. Both teams now progress to the County Final.
  • Ropsley win year 5 & 6 Girls Football
    Ropsley were crowned the 2010 Grantham and District Girls Football Champions on Tuesday 19th October after a close final against Long Bennington. Both teams now progress to the County Final.
  • Stamford High win U14 & U16 Netball Tournaments
    Stamford High took the double as they won both the U14 & U16 Netball tournaments on Monday 4th October. Walton Girls were runners-up in the U14 and Sir William Robertson High were the runners-up in the U16. Good luck to all four teams in the County Final.
  • St Gilberts win first Stamford Tri Golf Festival
    The Fishy Wishy team from St Gilberts were the first ever Stamford Primary School Sports Association Tri Golf tournament winners. 46 children took part in the tournament which was held at Burghley Park Golf Club. The results and photographs can be found in the results section of the website.
  • Congratulations!
    Lincolnshire has increased the number of children taking part in 'inter school competition' by over 4% over 2009/2010 academic year. This equates to approximately 4,000 more students than in the previous year who have had the experience of high quality inter school competition. It's a credit to all those who are working hard to increase the opportunities for our students.
  • Malcolm Sargent win year 5 Kwik Cricket
    Malcolm Sargent will now represent the Partnership in the County final after winning the year 5 Kwik Cricket by 9 runs.
  • Isaac Newton and St. Botolph's progress to County Final.
    St Botolph's and Isaac Newton will progress to the Lincolnshire County final in July after finishing 1st and 2nd respectively in the first ever girls Kwik Cricket Tournament.
  • Denton win TAG Rugby to progress to the County final
    After the first day had been rained off, Denton returned to continue where they left off. They played 8 games in all and remained un-beaten. The full report will be in the results section shortly.
  • Kesteven Rowers Scoop 2 National Gold Medals
    57 students from the Kesteven Super zone took part in the National Indoor Rowing Championships last Tuesday and scooped 2 Gold Medals in both the year 8 boys and year 8 girls race.
  • National win Mini-Tennis Tournament
    On Tuesday 16th March the first mini-tennis Partnership final took place with 8 teams competing to become champions.
  • Isaac Newton win Volleyball Tournament
    NINE teams took part in a primary schools volleyball tournament organised by South West Lincolnshire Schools Sports Partnership and held at Central Sports and Technology College last Tuesday.
  • Kesteven Kestrels and Lincolnshire Lead the Way
    On Friday 26th February Kesteven Kestrels won 6 out of 6 races at the East Midlands Indoor Rowing Championships. This meant that the Kesteven team made up of pupils from King\'s and KGGS won both the KS3 and KS4 competitions, whilst the other two teams came 4th and 5th.
  • St. Gilberts win sportshall athletics
    St. Gilberts were crowned 2010 sportshall athletics champions on Tuesday night after an excellent event at Stamford College. They will now represent the partnership at the large school County final and Uffington (who finished 3rd overall) will represent the partnership at the small school County final.
  • St Hugh's win in close final
    The final night of the KSSA Table Tennis League saw Kings and St Hugh's go head to head in the final after wins over Carre's Grammar and Sir William Robertson in the previous round. The final was decided on points scored after the match was drawn 4 - 4 in games and after they were added up 21 more points for St Hugh's meant they were crowned champions.   • League ends in a tie for top
    The SWLSSP Primary Table Tennis League ended with Isaac Newton 1 and Cliffedale 1 both on 33 points. Going in to the last week the teams were tied on 30 points a piece, winning all of the previous 6 matches. The last fixture of the league was set-up perfectly for them to go head to head for the championship. (Click here to read more)
  • Long Bennington take football crown
    The Primary large school football tournament took place on December 2nd with 12 team battling it out to be crowned Champions and progess to the County Final. Long Bennington were crowned winners after a close final against St Mary's but both will now progress to the County Final in 2010. Good luck and well done to all teams who took part.
  • Carre's win Indoor Football Crown
    Carre's Grammar School team 1 scored 21 goals in 5 games in order to win the Year 7 Indoor 5-a-side Football Tournament on 24th November. They won the final 4 - 1 against King's School and will now represent Kesteven Keatrels at the Regional Final in 2010.
  • Stamford High Win County Final
    Stamford High School have won the under 14 Netball County final. They will now represent the County on 30th January 2010 at Soar Valley, Leicestershire at the Regional event.
  • Central and Kings win Boys Badminton
    The 2009 Centre Parcs National Badminton Championships kicked off with the boys event on November 12th.
  • Carre's and Central Qualify for County Final
    Carre's Grammar School and Central Technology and Sports College will now represent the Kesteven Kestrels Zone at the County Final after winning the boys and girls under 15's Volleyball. Good luck to both teams.
  • Barkston Girls are Victorious
    Barkston won a close final 3 - 2 in the Girls Yr 5&6 football tournament on Tuesday 13 October. They, along with runners-up Isaac Newton will now represent the SWLSSP at the County Final later this year. Over 90 girls took part in the competition and some excellent football was played. A big thank you goes to Isaac Newton School who organised the competition. Good Luck to Barkston and Isaac Newton in the County Final.
  • Stamford High and Walton Girls are Victorious
    On Monday 5th October the KSSA U14 and U16 Netball tournaments were hosted by St George's Technology College. Stamford High won the under 14 tournament and Walton Girls won the under 16's. Both of these will now represent KSSA in the County Final.

  • Brand New Wall Planner
    Every Primary and Secondary school in Lincolnshire will recieve the 2009 - 2010 School Competition Wall Planner. This shows all competition dates this year at Association, County, Regional and National level.

  • KGGS Win U19 Netball County Final
    KGGS won the 2010 / 11 under 19 County Final with a 13 - 4 win over QEGS Horncastle in the the Final. KGGS now represent Lincolnshire at the Regional Finals early next year.
  • Walton win Yr9 Girls Indoor Football
    Walton Girls took the Year 9 Indoor Football crown after a close tournament which saw St Georges finish in second. Well done Walton Girls.
  • Priory Ruskin Academy and KGGS win Volleyball League
    After two very close leagues Priory Ruskin Academy took first in the boys and Kesteven and Grantham Girls took the girls title. A full report will be in the results section shortly.

    The Lincolnshire School Sport Competition website has been re-designed and re-launched on September 1st 2009.
