South West Lincolnshire SSP

TAG Rugby

 

On Wednesday 5^th May 12 teams battled it out to be crowned South West Lincolnshire SSP TAG Rugby Champions 2010. The winners and Runners-up would then progress to represent the School Sport Partnership at the County Final in May.

 

The first stage took the form of 3 groups with the top 3 teams and best runner-up progressing to the semi-finals and then final. Shane Ward, Competition Manager, said: “It was great to see some schools taking part for the first time and doing really well. This tournament is part of a National Youth Sports Trust Initiative for school competitions which provides every school in the Country the opportunity to take part and it will ultimately end with a National final at Twickenham”.

Well done to all the teams who took part and thank you to Kesteven Rugby Club for hosting the competition. See you again next year.
